We want you on the right bike. If a new eBike isn’t the fit you hoped for, you may be able to return it under the terms below.

Return window

A new eBike qualifies for return only if both of these are true when you bring it back — whichever limit you reach first closes the window:

  • The bike’s display shows under 5 miles of total ride distance, and
  • It has been 14 days or less since your purchase date.

Once the bike passes 5 miles or 14 days, it is no longer eligible for return.

25% restocking fee

Approved returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, calculated on the bike’s purchase price and deducted from your refund. A ridden bike can no longer be sold as new; the fee covers inspection, reconditioning, and repackaging.

The restocking fee applies to change-of-mind returns only. It does not apply to a valid warranty claim (see below).

Condition required for a refund

To qualify, the bike must come back:

  • Clean and undamaged, with no wear beyond a brief break-in ride
  • With all original accessories, hardware, charger, keys, and manuals
  • In its original packaging when possible — missing or damaged packaging may increase the restocking fee

Bikes returned damaged, modified, or missing parts may be refused or have additional deductions applied.

What we can’t take back

  • Separately purchased batteries and chargers once used or charged (safety and liability)
  • Parts, accessories, and add-ons once used or installed — helmets, locks, racks, spare batteries, and similar
  • Clearance, sale, floor-model, or “as-is” bikes
  • Custom builds and special-order items

Returns vs. warranty

This policy covers change-of-mind returns. It is separate from your manufacturer warranty. If your bike has a defect, that’s handled through the Aventon, Velotric, or Lectric warranty and our service department — no restocking fee applies to a valid warranty claim. Bring the bike in and we’ll diagnose it.

How to start a return

  1. Contact us or stop by within the return window.
  2. Bring the bike, all original accessories, and your receipt or proof of purchase.
  3. We’ll inspect the bike and confirm eligibility.
  4. Approved refunds go to the original payment method, less the 25% restocking fee, typically within 5 to 10 business days.
